Sri Lakshmi Furnitures
Teak wood furniture made to order in Salem, Tamil Nadu. Solid wood only, no particle board, with a 5 year warranty.
Since 2018 · Near Toll Gate, Salem bypass road
My father and I started this shop in 2018
In 2018 my father and I opened Sri Lakshmi Furnitures near the Toll Gate on the Salem bypass road. He handles the timber and the joinery; I handle the orders and the phone. It is a small shop, and we like it that way.
Every piece that leaves here is made to order from genuine timber. We do not keep stock piled up in a warehouse; we build what you ask for, and we stand behind it.
What we make
Five things, done properly. Each piece is made to order in our workshop.
Teak wood sofa sets
Built on a solid teak frame with joinery meant to hold for years. Choose the size, the cushion layout and the finish, and we make the set for your living room.
Dining tables
Four-seaters, six-seaters, or whatever your family needs. The top and legs come from genuine timber, finished smooth and sealed for daily use.
Pooja mandirs
Carved teak mandirs for the home, made to the size and style that suits your space. A quiet, careful piece of work for the most important corner of the house.
Custom wardrobes
Made to your room's measurements and your storage needs. Custom designs are welcome; if you have a Pinterest photo, send it to us on WhatsApp.
Re-polishing of old furniture
Old pieces brought back to life. We re-polish at our workshop or at your home, depending on the piece, so your furniture looks and feels right again.
Solid wood only
No particle board is used in our workshop. Only genuine timber. What you order is what you get, all the way through.
Warranty
5 year warranty on solid wood
On every solid wood piece we make.
